PAMPORE, FEB 8, 2026 — Local authorities have launched a formal investigation following the discovery of a young man’s body under mysterious circumstances in the Namblabal area of Pampore, South Kashmir.
The deceased has been identified as Hazik Sajad, son of Sajad Ahmad Mehboobi and a resident of Namblabal. The body was discovered by locals behind a graveyard on Saturday, prompting immediate notification of the Pulwama district police.
A forensic team arrived at the scene shortly after to take custody of the body for essential medico-legal formalities, which will determine the precise cause of death.
