84 Bn CRPF conducts Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign at GHS Chanderkote

RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 25: The 84 Bn CRPF today organized a mass cleanliness drive at Government High School Chanderkote Ramban district under Swachhata Hi Seva -2025 campaign. The drive was led by Second-in-Command A.K. Dixit and Second-in-Command Vikram Singh, with participation of more than 50 officers, subordinate officers and other ranks of the Battalion.

Themed “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath,” the drive focused on cleaning the school premises by cutting grass, collecting garbage, removing polybags and ensuring a cleaner environment.

More than 160 participants including personnel of 84 Bn CRPF, school children and local civilians enthusiastically took part in the campaign.While interacting with the participants, the Second-in-Command officers underlined the importance of collective responsibility for cleanliness and urged citizens to join hands in creating a clean and green India by undertaking Shramdaan activities through a Jan Andolan with active community participation.

The School Headmaster Abdur Rehman, along with teachers and students, expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the 84 Bn CRPF for conducting the drive under the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative.It is pertinent to mention that the 84 Bn CRPF has been deployed in J&K since 2010, with its Battalion Headquarters at Chatha, Jammu. Its companies are stationed in Ramban district performing operationally sensitive ROP duty on NH-44, ensuring smooth movement of security force convoys and other vehicles through the district.
