84 Battalion CRPF Celebrates Holi in Ramban: Strengthening Bonds and National Unity
RAMBAN, March 4, 2026 — The Tac Headquarters of the 84 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), was transformed into a kaleidoscope of colors today as officers, jawans, and their families gathered to celebrate Holi with traditional fervor and community spirit.
Marking the arrival of spring and the symbolic triumph of good over evil, the festivities served as a powerful platform for cultural integration, bringing together personnel from across India and local residents in a display of seamless harmony.
During the event, participants exchanged traditional greetings and sweets, reinforcing the deep-rooted camaraderie that defines the paramilitary force. Addressing the gathering, Commandant 84 Bn, N. Ranbir Singh, emphasized that since CRPF personnel are often stationed in remote and high-conflict zones far from their homes, such organized celebrations are essential to ensure they feel the warmth of festive traditions and remain connected to their cultural roots.
He further urged the fraternity to embrace the spirit of togetherness and continue their dedicated contribution toward nation-building, concluding the celebration on a high note of resilience and service to the country.
