Vijaypur 15th August :- The 79th Independence Day of India was celebrated at great patriotic zeal and enthusiasm at the Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur.
The ceremony was presided over by Principal PTTI, Ranjit Singh Sambyal-IPS, who unfurled the National Flag in the presence of eminent citizens, retired police personnel, and institute members. The ceremony was highlighted by a March Past of contingents of PTTI staff, giving the event grandeur. Principal Sambyal, in his speech, stressed the importance of Independence Day, giving credit to the freedom fighters who shed their blood for the independence of the country and police martyrs who gave their lives to ensure the sovereignty of the nation. He congratulated the staff on the occasion and asked them to put in dedicated efforts and honesty for the welfare of the nation.
The ceremony was ended with Bada Khana distributed to all the participants and attendees, providing a befitting conclusion to the festivities.
