3 days  training course on “Courtesy and Behaviour” for officials of J&K Police Airport Security concluded

Udhampur, 26 September :- The three-day training course on “Courtesy and Behaviour” for officials of J&K Police Airport Security concluded today at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur.

Rajinder Kumar Gupta, IPS, SSP, Dy. Director (Indoor/Trgs) was the Chief Guest at the valedictory function and addressed the participants. In his remarks, he underlined the importance of courtesy, discipline, and professional conduct in ensuring passenger-friendly security at airports. He noted that the image of the police is defined not only by efficiency in duties but equally by the way officers interact with the public.

As part of the function, course participants were felicitated and awarded certificates of participation. The trainees expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to enhance their professional skills and affirmed their commitment to applying the learning in their day-to-day assignments.

The programme was designed to equip airport security personnel with essential behavioural skills, thereby fostering better public interaction, improved coordination with stakeholders, and the maintenance of high standards of security.

The course was coordinated by Amit Parkash Sehgal, SrPO, with assistance from ASI Parshotam Singh, member faculty.
