𝗦𝗦𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗦𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗙𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗪𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗗𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗜

𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬: 𝗦𝗦𝗣 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶  𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘃𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵, 𝗝𝗞𝗣𝗦 convened an important meeting at District Police Office Reasi to review and discuss the implementation of the new criminal laws and their effective enforcement across the district.

The meeting was attended by 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗹. 𝗦𝗣 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗮  𝗩𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗻-𝗝𝗞𝗣𝗦, 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗹. 𝗦𝗣 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝗜𝗳𝘁𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗱-𝗝𝗞𝗣𝗦, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶  𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗵𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗮𝗹, 𝗗𝘆.𝗦𝗣 𝗛𝗾𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗮𝗹, 𝗦𝗗𝗣𝗢 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿. 𝗕𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗲𝘆-𝗝𝗞𝗣𝗦, 𝗦𝗗𝗣𝗢 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲  𝗩𝗶𝗾𝗮𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘀-𝗝𝗞𝗣𝗦, 𝗦𝗗𝗣𝗢 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘀  𝗨𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿, 𝗗𝘆.𝗦𝗣 𝗣𝗖 𝗣𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗶  𝗔𝘀𝗵𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮, 𝗗𝘆.𝗦𝗣 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the key components of the New Criminal Laws, including E-Sakshya, SIDs, E-Summon, MedLeapr, Zero FIR, E-FIR, Community Service, Trial in Absentia, FSL Visit and monitoring of cases under 60-day and 90-day investigation timelines. It was emphasized that FSL visits are mandatory in cases involving offences punishable with imprisonment of seven years or more.

SSP Reasi underscored the importance of timely investigation, adherence to procedural timelines and completion of cases within the stipulated period, ensuring transparency, accountability and efficiency in the criminal justice process.

He directed all investigating officers to leverage digital platforms like E-Sakshya for electronic evidence collection and E-Summon for expeditious communication, while maintaining close coordination with Prosecution Officers and FSL units to strengthen investigation quality.

The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to uphold justice, enhance investigation standards and improve conviction rates through meticulous case handling and diligent application of the new criminal laws.
